Our Crafty Journey

Freddie Loves Crochet first opened its virtual doors in 2021 with a little Etsy shop and a Facebook page. From these humble beginnings, we’ve grown to become one of the most recognised deliverer of Crochet Courses in the Cheshire and Wirral area.  The owner of Freddie Loves Crochet is Alison, mum to Freddie who was born at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in June 2020.  A high school teacher of Modern Languages by trade, she has been a keen knitter and crocheter since childhood (over 30 years!) and decided to turn her teaching experience into a crochet business.  Alison writes and designs all her own courses  and workshops and is also busy developing more patterns.  One-on-one tuition is also on offer.

Our mission is to be a one-stop-Crochet Hub for makers and crafters of all abilities - from total beginners to advanced crocheters. We stock a growing range of crochet patterns, offer a wide range of seasonal workshops for every ability of crocheter and also teach regular beginners' and improvers' courses, and many more!
