US Terms Pattern


Abbreviations (US terms):

SC              single crochet

DC              double crochet

ch             chain

sl st          slip stitch

2dctog       2 double crochets together (decrease)

The ch3 at the beginning of each row counts as a stitch.

 

Instructions are given for Aran yarn first and DK yarn in brackets.  Where there are no brackets then the instructions are the same for both yarns.  No colour change instructions are included – you can change colour at the end of any row as desired.

 


Make 2 identical panels (front and back).  As this is a beginner standard pattern, the panels will be crocheted together all the way around so you will not be able to remove the cover.

For size adjustments, chain a multiple of 14 plus 3.

Row 1 

From 4th ch from the hook, work 5xdc in the next 5 chs.

Work 2xsc at the end of each dc row along.
