Crochet at The Barn - Beginners' Course

Learn to crochet over the course of 6 weeks! You will learn basic crochet techniques and work up to making a bobble hat by the end of the course (amongst many other things!). The course starts on Wednesday 8th January for 6 weeks until 12th February - 6pm-7.30pm. Location is Craft HQ, The Barn, Pye Road, Heswall, CH60 0DB Refreshments included. The Barn is a beautiful venue in the heart of Heswall that provides many craft opportunities as well as a shop and café. The ideal place for a little bit of crochet! It is a fully taught course by Alison, a qualified, experienced teacher and professional crochet designer. Alison's work has been featured in Simply Crochet magazine several times and she has successful Etsy and Ravelry shops selling crochet patterns and a popular YouTube channel with an ever-growing catalogue of crochet tutorials. Alison's extensive teaching experience means you get a personalised learning plan that will both support and challenge you, allowing you to make rapid progress whilst being fully assisted by a skilled professional. Alison also has training and experience in working with young people and adults with learning difficulties and neuro-diversities. The course is suitable for children from 10+, too, and accompanied by an adult. For the course you will need your own 5mm crochet hook (metal ones are better, if possible) and some DK (double knitting) weight yarn. We also have starter kits available for £12 - We will contact you before the course starts where you can order your kit.
