Intro to Intarsia (tapestry) Crochet

Service Description

Ever wondered how all those pretty colourwork patterns are made with crochet? Well, wonder no more! This one-off workshop will show you the basics of intarsia crochet (a type of tapestry crochet) including how to read a colourwork crochet chart. You will also be given a pattern to make a handy potholder for your kitchen, too! Where? My CroShed, Little Neston (address will be emailed after booking). When? Thursday 1st May 7pm - 9pm or Sunday 4th May 11am - 1pm. Places are very limited - just 6 available. Yarn will be provided - just bring your hooks! Left-handed patterns will also be provided. This session is suitable for anyone who knows the basic crochet stitches (US terms single crochet/double crochet/half double crochet - UK terms double crochet/treble crochet/ half treble crochet). I am also offering Intro to Mosaic Crochet in June and Intro to Tunisian Crochet.
